I have been dying to have a penpal but anytime I find one, they never write back after one letter. I would love to find a penpal who is willing to commit to having a long term friendship. Everyone seem to only want girl penpals. This made me curious – do guys make bad penpals? Or are they just by default going to try to be more than penpals? I mean penpals generally never meet up etc – or am I wrong?

I’m going to guess people want female penpals so they are more likely to share cute stationary, stickers, doodles and girly secrets.. whereas having a male penpal must be another experience all together!
I’ve even met some of my ‘old skool’ penpals after a long time of friendship and am close with them to this day. My best friend of 13 years was actually once my penpal. Whoever you choose as a penpal, have fun!

I’d consider myself a very creative being, I used to make clothes for my ebay bizzness from 2003-2006, although I primarily made only clothes for my bizzness I’ve dipped my hands in almost every creative medium that I can get my hands in.
My current obsession is making zines, I have three issues of my zine [Lolita] out currently, which I would be willing to send to whomever I become penpals with so I could get some honest feedback.
My favorite color scheme right now is [Red,Black,White]. I like modern patterns and clean lines a lot.
Okay that was a lot, but hopefully my new penpal out there can appreciate long letters!
